What is Hypnotherapy?
5% of our mind is conscious, and 95% is sub and unconscious, to install positive thoughts, feelings & awareness we must lift the veil between the conscious and the subconscious.
Then we have a direct pathway for integrating thoughts that will bring you the feelings and the feelings that will bring you the emotion you require for your success.
This technique is also used to bring limited beliefs & wounds to the surface, when it’s in our awareness then it no longer controls us unconsciously and we can freely let it go. Making room for what works and gets you the desired results.
As a workplace, business or corporate institute this is a gift for team building and harmonizing individuals to first understand themselves which in turn leads to understanding others, pivotal for growth
Hypnotherapy is the application of hypnotic techniques as a therapy for a range of problems. Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and increased suggestibility that can be induced by a trained hypnotherapist or by yourself using self-hypnosis methods. When you are in hypnosis, you are more open to positive suggestions that can help you change your thoughts, feelings, behaviours or habits.
How does hypnotherapy work?
Hypnotherapy works by accessing your subconscious mind, which is the part of your mind that stores your memories, emotions, beliefs and habits. Your subconscious mind influences your conscious mind, which is the part of your mind that you use for reasoning, decision-making and awareness. Sometimes, your subconscious mind can have negative or limiting beliefs or habits that prevent you from achieving your full potential or cause you distress. Hypnotherapy can help you identify and modify these subconscious patterns and replace them with more positive and empowering ones.
Hypnotherapy can help with a wide variety of issues, such as:
- Weight loss
- And many more
Hypnotherapy can also help you enhance your personal growth, creativity, happiness and well-being.
What happens in a hypnotherapy session?
A typical hypnotherapy session consists of three stages: pre-talk, induction and suggestion.
Pre-talk: This is where you have a conversation with your hypnotherapist about what you want to achieve and what methods they will use. You can ask any questions you have and clarify any doubts or concerns. Your hypnotherapist will also explain what hypnosis is and how it works.
Induction: This is where your hypnotherapist guides you into a relaxed and focused state of hypnosis using various techniques such as breathing, imagery, counting or progressive muscle relaxation. You will feel calm and comfortable and still be aware of your surroundings.
Suggestion: This is where your hypnotherapist gives you positive suggestions that are tailored to your goals and needs. These suggestions can be direct (e.g. “You are confident and capable”) or indirect (e.g. “Imagine yourself in a situation where you feel confident and capable”). You can choose to accept or reject these suggestions as you wish. Your hypnotherapist may also use other techniques such as metaphors, stories or affirmations to reinforce the suggestions.
At the end of the session, your hypnotherapist will gradually bring you out of the hypnotic state and help you integrate the changes you have made. You will feel refreshed and relaxed.
